Christmas Bright OrnamentsCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

This Christmas card is stunning and will brighten the Christmas spirit of any receiver.

I first cut out all 3 elements and then realized how easily it would fit together as a decoupage, so I planned the card first.

THE CARD- Is very pale green textured strong card 29.5cmx

18 cm, scored and folded in the centre, and rounded corners, edged in gold pen . I used a small punch, made 4 holes equi- distant along the fold edge to thread the pale apricot ribbon.(The inside of the card has the ribbon loose the full 14.5cm where the insert is threaded through, the bow being tied on the outside.

THE TOPPER,1. Satin finish gold heavy duty paper 17.5x14.5cm 2. Each layer is attached with D.S Foam Squares the largest layer is edged in bottle green.I then used Long strips of D.S Foam tape on the reverse of the gold and pressed it all firmly onto the card front. This was then embellished with bronze sequins and "Canteloup" Pearl drops. It then really glowed
