Christmas Nativity Open Book Topper with Decoupage

With this design I first printed it out onto photo paper, then after cutting out all the elements, I placed the main design base onto the front of a green C5 card, I then added a silver border all round the outside edges of the design, to finish my card I made up the design, this I did using 2mm sticky pads, this is a beautiful design for Christmas, was very easy to cut and make up and is stunning once done.
I printed on Crafty Bob's matte photo paper and cut out the parts. I covered a tentfold A5 card with a plum coloured mirror type card and distressed it with gold ink.
I centred and mounted the base image with DST and layered the decoupage with silicone, adding a twisted gold peel off border down the centre of the page.
I used burgundy, yellow and cristal stickles on the flower spray,tassel and halos. I added tiny gold peel off corners to complete the card. A beautiful traditional Nativity scene on an open book page, with a lovely spray of poinsettias . It looks stunning made up!
