I printed the sheet onto 250gsm Super Smooth white cardstock and cut out the pieces. I went round the base layer with a violet metalic marker.

I cut a sheet of yellow cardstock a fraction larger than the edge of the of the base and went around that with the same marker.

I also cut a narrow panel of the same cardstock the same height as the first yellow piece and also went round the edge of this with the marker.

I took an 8" square base card and stuck a mat of golden Satin Board cut to be a little smaller on top using finger-lift tape.

I cut a square of purple cardstock a little smaller again and stuck onto the card. I used 1mm deep, double sided, foam tape to put on the strip and matted topper and 2mm deep, double sided foam tape to add the second layer of the topper.

The card is for a 60th birthday so I used the metalic marker to write on 60 onto the yellow strip before raiding my box of pre-cut bits for flower layers which I shaped and stuck together using quick grab glue and put on the card to embelish.

These had the same metalic marker put on their centers.
