Blue Iris Embroidery Anglaise Scallop Card Base Frame
I have designed these scalloped base and frames to match the scalloped 3D kits that I have available. You can use them either with the cards in the kit as a base or use them on your own cardstock.
Ideal for a effective card topper and very easy to make.
Simply cut out the base layer and then using 3D glue or foam place the frame layer on top, or alternatively make it into a shaker card front.

I printed onto 190gsm matte photo paper, then cut out both pieces including the oval frame. I then added d/s tape to the back of the main piece ready to attach to a coordinating blank card.
I decided to make this design into a shaker card, so I attached a piece of acetate to the underside of the top layer, then used 3mm foam tape around the edges and also around the oval, where I would be adding my holographic stars.
I then added the stars and very carefully positioned the base layer onto the frame.
Finished off by attaching to a coordinating plain blue card with a deckled edge.
Makes a very pretty card that is a little different and suitable for many occasions.
