Blue Iris Embroidery Anglaise Scallop Card Base FrameCompleted by Heather Beechey
OccasionI printed onto 190gsm matte photo paper, then cut out both pieces including the oval frame. I then added d/s tape to the back of the main piece ready to attach to a coordinating blank card.
I decided to make this design into a shaker card, so I attached a piece of acetate to the underside of the top layer, then used 3mm foam tape around the edges and also around the oval, where I would be adding my holographic stars.
I then added the stars and very carefully positioned the base layer onto the frame.
Finished off by attaching to a coordinating plain blue card with a deckled edge.
Makes a very pretty card that is a little different and suitable for many occasions.
