Using my graphics software I reversed the image and aligned it to the first to make a double octagon which I printed onto smooth white card.

I scored down centre and folded in half, then cut through both layers to make octagonal card.

I cut out the centre of the pansy wreath (with a scalpel), punched a circle out of toning paper and mounted it behind the aperture.

I used a gold gel pen to add subtle highlights on lace edging, butterflies' wings and flowers. I added gold greetings peel-off. Going back to the graphics software, I lightened the image and reprinted it onto smooth paper before cutting it out to make the insert.
