I used a vivid blue card as backing. Cut out & matted design onto white card,leaving a small edge of white showing, then attached this to the blue card with foam pads to raise it slightly.

I matted the birthday sentiment the same way. Added the "Porche" sign the same.

The colours in this design are gorgeous & bright.
