There is still time to use this design for any celebration that may occur before the 16th of February. This suits my Brother in law, as his birthday is the 11th February. It is a good idea to keep these relevant Chinese Zodiac dates in a note book, as they do not correlate with the Gregorian Calendar Anna has an almost full repertoire of these in her design portfolio, and they don’t necessarily have to relate to the year of birth, they work just as well as a fun or informative greeting card. I printed the sheet provided twice onto single sheets of C.B matte white 280gsm card, as I wanted to be able to cut out the different layers and mount them onto the card front in the step by step method. I then used a metallic burgundy backing sheet, cut at 12 cm x11.75 cm, and attached this backing sheet to a textured ivory print card front which measures 13.5cm square. Before I attached the zodiac topper, I used a burgundy and gold trimmed 4mm wide ribbon to attach, a little in from the edge, to all 4 sides using tiny white spots of white glue. Once this was dry, I trimmed the overhanging strips off each corner and then using D.S tape attached the zodiac topper to the card front. I used gold peel off strips, following the same shape as the zodiac, around the edge of the topper main image. To make the insert, I used a brown and yellow tartan print, as a backing sheet and printed the verse 1b from cup846611_9035, verse inserts. This was such an easy quick card to complete, and having the verse inserts on hand is an added bonus for a quick card.
