Sassy Cheryl - I Pawsitively Love You Topper Plus InsertCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

This is such a cute, catchy image, I have used this topper, card front design as a valentines’ day greeting card for my daughter.

I made the card using cup411825_1056, Cute Pink Hearts Backing paper, designed by Karen Wyeth, to print onto both sides.

I then put this aside while I completed the card front and prepared the embellishments for both the inside and outside of the card.

I printed the sheet provided onto Crafty Bob 200gsm matte white A4 sheet twice, so that the each main image measured 11cm square.

I used one image as the main backing sheet and defined the edges with a hot pink metallic pen.

I attached a 12cm square rose pink backing sheet to the back of this main image using D.S. tape. I then added the silver peel off decorative strip to the rose pink backing sheet. I attached a 9cm doily to the top left hand corner before wrapping the hot pink heart embossed ribbon around the 3 items and securing the tails at the back.

I used D.S 6mm wide tape to attach this to the card front before attaching the smaller main image cut form the second copy using padded D.S. tape.

I then attached the decorative silver peel off strip before attaching the hand-made paper flower with the pearl centre. I then added the silver corner embellishments.

I was then able to use the sentiment image supplied to cut away the spotty frame, and use both these with an added 9cm half doily to opposite corners and attach my own greeting inside the spotty frame.

I have added a pink 3 dimensional peel off butterfly as an extra embellishment. This Sassy Cheryl image sends a message of love and cuteness, which is a card makers’ delight. Thank you Deloris for the inspiration, I have had a most enjoyable day making this card. Pamela Horton.
