Soldiers on Parade

Printed the sheet onto 250 gram card then printed the solder topper again. Mounted the first panel on holographic gold card then cut the white panel with the solders of my second print and mounted that on the same holographic card. Folded an A4 gold coloured pearlescent card stock in half. Applied the tartan backing sheet with double sided sticky tape, realised I had printed the sheet a little short trimmed the top with gold peel off to make a braid to cover that fact it was short really liked the effect this made. Then attached the happy birthday strip to the bottom edge and placed the first topper to the main card with 2mm foam pads, applied the second over the top of the first, again with foam pads. Lovely card to make very simple and effective, great for big or little boys who like the military theme.
