You have a little hamster,
How cute these creatures are,
Their little furry bodies,
Tiny whiskers, tails and claws,
They run upon their hamster wheel,
They fill their face with food,
They stand upon their hind legs,
They think they're rather cool,
So say hurrah for hamsters,
They're fun to have around,
And I know if you had more space,
More cages would be found!

A home is not a home,
Without a pet or two,
Doesn't matter what it is,
They cheer and help us through,
For there's nothing better than to see,
A dog's face at the door,
A little cat upon a lap,
Or a hamster cage on the floor,
For animals have many benefits,
They give purpose to our days,
They add a lot of interest,
With their curious little ways,
So I hope an animal is sharing,
Some time with you today,
May they always live within your home,
And forever with you stay!

Welcome to your cat,
At last he's found a home,
Somewhere to find a lap,
So no more will he want to roam,
He'll sit upon your knee,
And purrrr away all day,
At last this little furry friend,
Has found a place to stay!

I love the ginger cat
That visits me each day
I don't know where he comes from
I think he might be a stray
He never stays too long
Just enough time to say 'Hello'
Then he's off, over the fence
It's time for him to go

Pets are loyal and show you they care
They will always love you
And always be there
They give you love whether you're happy or sad
They are always there whether you're healthy or bad
Pets are loving like a husband or wife
They will always love you and are there for life.

If I could only tell you
How much you mean to me
As you pet and stroke me
When I sit upon your knee

But I am only a little cat
Unable to say what I feel
But my love for you is very strong
And your love for me is real

I hear you have a new friendly pet
It will be good company for you
You will not feel so alone now
And you'll be its companion too

Today is your birthday, my beautiful pooch,
A time to play frisbee and have a quick mooch,
A run and a jump and a hip, hip, horray,

The day you came into my life was such a special day, you helped me see I should go on, by showing me the way. You need me and I need you, I love the life we're sharing. There's so much fun (once chores are done), it's such a perfect pairing.

My dear sweet, little feline friend,

If you ever go missing we know where you will be,
visiting the stables, your beautiful horse to see,
There’s never a day when you’re parted,
rarely a day when you don’t ride,
So we know that on your birthday
he’ll be right there by your side.

The whiskers, the fur,
Oh my how he purrs,
The paws, the claws,
Sharp teeth in his jaws,
But behind this smart kitty,
Who is watchful and keen,
As he preys on small birds,
Whilst he crouches unseen,
Is a soft gentle feline,
Round your legs he will be,
Then he'll curl up beside you,
Or go to sleep on your knee.

A cat is a cat
A bundle of fur
All set to pounce or ready to purr
As long as you become their slave
They will Love you forever and a day

Budgies are so pretty,
So bright and cheerful too,
They dance upon their little perch,
Singing lots of songs to you!
With their colourful feathers,
They are such a pleasure to see,
And the budgerigar upon this card
Is as happy as it can be,
For it's chirping birthday wishes,
On this your special day,
May lots of fun and laughter,
Always come your way.

Everyday you wake me with your cries of joy
You sing so sweet
Its such a treat
You fill my world with joy
Thank you my little feathered friend
My little angle who sings so sweet

My companion is my little cat
Who loves to sit upon my lap
When I stroke her silken fur
All she does is purr and purr

Though your no longer bounding up to me,
or sitting in your chair
My furry friend
my confident
I know your all ways there,
I know your watching over us,
and waiting patently
Till we come to join you too and play away our cares.

She's nimble and quiet,
As she moves through the house,
You're never quite sure,
If she's hiding a mouse,
She'll look out of the window,
She'll sleep in the sun,
She's loving, she's playful,
She can be a whole lot of fun,
Yet she's feisty, independent,
Curious, aloof,
And oft times as not,
You'll find her up on the roof,
Then this loving little feline.
Will purr on your knee,
For at that moment in time,
There's nowhere else she'd rather be!

Please let me sit up on your lap
I will keep you as warm as can be
I am your beautiful pussy cat
There is no better friend than me

My best friend is a cat

Than curl up on the mat

And your dog close by your feet
You enjoy the company of your furry friends
It's the best way for friends to meet

I am just an old furry pussy cat
Who sits around all day
I purr and rub myself around you
I love you more than I can say

I'm a very good little cat
I sleep all day on the mat
Waiting for my friend to come home
