Birthday Animals

You are a proper Twitcher,
You spot birds wherever you are,
Whether you are out on foot,

And with your trusty binoculars,

One thing that never changes, when playing, I’m in ‘puppy mode’
And when I say it’s time for ‘walkies’ I really am quite loud,
Now, with creaking hips and knocking knees
We make a quite pair for all o see,

We’ve changed a lot as we have aged throughout all my years,
But there’s one thing that never alters
Even through the years our bodies falter,

This kangaroo is hopping by,

With his big hard shell,
He's a clever old animal,
Because he can hide in it as well,

They often win the race,
