Christmas people

The holidays are upon us,
It will soon be Christmas day,
School books, papers, pencils,
Have all been put away,
It's time to forget our busy lives,
And take some time to see,
That home is where the heart is,
It's where we want to be,
So teacher I wish you so much joy,
Especially at Christmas time,
May peace and love surround you,
As the Christmas bells start to chime.

I have a special teacher,
I have special wishes too,
I want to send these wishes,
At Christmas time to you,
May you have a glittering Christmas,
May it be everything you hope for - and more,
And may this holiday season,
Hold magical things in store.

I have a Teaching Assistant,
Who is very kind to me,
She listens carefully to what I say,
She is always good to me,
So I wouldn't want to miss the chance,
Especially at this time of year,
To wish you joy and happiness,
And a Christmas full of cheer.

My Nursery Nurse is special,
My Nursery Nurse is kind,
And I send her Christmas wishes,
For I hope that she will find,
Christmas is the time of rejoicing,
Celebrating a baby's birth,
The time when the baby Christ child,
Came down from Heaven to Earth,
May you find it a time of peace,
A time of happiness too,
And may the year ahead,
Be very good to you.

Tis the season of great happiness,
Tis the season of great joy,
When all over the world,
People remember a baby boy,
May the blessings of this Christmas time,
Fill you with great cheer,
And may the memories that you make today,
Last throughout the year.

It's such a special time of year
for couples just like you,
There's lots and lots of plans to make
and many things to do.
No wonder you are loved so much
you're such a special pair.
You are both blessed with happiness
two hearts that truly care.

Christmas Wishes

Christmas is here,
the bells are ringing:
The children have gathered
and they are all singing....
It?s time to celebrate
and to have fun;
Christmas is here
for everyone!

Pull on a Christmas cracker
Tugging with both hands
Snap it goes, out falls the gift
But we don't see where it lands

We search for that little gift
We put on the paper hat
We read the silly motto
And everyone laughs at that

As the snow falls,
My dreams recall
Memories go flooding back,
To a time as a child
And those wintry days
Laughing and frolicking
As games we did play.

Now the turkey is all gone
And the trifle is finished up
I would like to raise a glass
To the person who washes up

It's not any easy task
To wash up all those plates
Also to remember the chef
And the waiter who stands and waits

Christmas Carols, last minute gift wrapping
Shops open late, people shopping
Christmas Eve, so much to do
Will we be able to cope with the big day
Of course we will, we always do

HAVE A WONDERFUL XMAS

A little card and gift that says
Thank you for your helpful ways
And hoping that the Christmas cheer
Will go towards a Happy New Year.

For those we will miss this Christmas
For those who will not be here
Let us set aside a quiet thought
Amidst this time of cheer

Merry Christmas to All
and to all a good night
when all your love ones or home
then everything is just right

Special thoughts are being sent
and many wishes too.
For all it takes to make the season
full of joy for you.

The wind may chill and start to blow,
The weatherman says we might have snow,
But no matter whether you rest or play,

We want to be with our loved ones
as Christmas times draws near,
To share the joy of family
and those we hold most dear,
It's a time of magical beauty
where traditions all play a part,
Whilst the message of peace and joy
leave a warm feeling in our hearts.

Christmas lights twinkle,church bells ring,
away in the distance carolers sing.
Inside the houses all is cozy and snug
The fire is blazing, pets curled on the rug
The joys of the season are almost here
So to all of you, I raise a glass of good cheer.
All the blessings of Christmas are sent to you today.

Lights that twinkle, glisten and gleam,
Wherever you go they can be seen,
Trees so splendid decorated with care,
Gifts and cards that everyone shares,
Tables abound with food and fine wines,
Some have a cold climate,
Whilst for others the sun shines,
But what everyone brings,
Whether young or old,
Cannot be bought, bartered or sold,
It's LOVE we find on Christmas Day,
All we do is feel it and give it away.
