Which was the bigger event for both of you,
Retiring along with a change of responsibilities.
Being the great Grand Parent minding of 2,
Or moving home with downsizing, Both having some extra liabilities.
Regardless of all the consequences,
Which have a way of finding their own solutions,
And being thankful for the positive outcomes,
We would like to convey,
Our message of love and blessings we send on the way,
And wish you both happy retirement and every happiness,

No alarms to set,
No deadlines to meet,

Clock watching is over,

For both of us know as we retire
We can do anything we desire,
There's time for us every day
We start to get in each other's way,
We love each other there's no doubt
Travelling together out and about,
Having interests of our own
Has helped us to have really grown,
We have a lovely family together
So our lives are bonded forever,
Looking back would anything change
Answer is no, that would be strange.

I'ts hip hip hip hooray as we raise a glass
Wishing you nothing but good times
On your escape from the working class !!

So now the day has come
as you now retire
