Friendship picks you up
when the world let's you down,
A friend will bring a smile,
and smooth away your frown.

Down at the beach
With stones beneath my feet
I see the birds fly high in the sky.
And I wonder why

The crash of the waves
And a view of the caves
This is the place for me
Down by the good old sea.

Ants crawling in many rows
Going from lane to lane
Rushing, Impatient and Busy
Ants on the freeway
Ants on the busy paved streets
All on their way to work
How sad they have to rush, to get their
coffee fix before the days work
Have a great day and don't become an Ant, just chill

Our Legacy is not in what we do,
who we know or what we have.
It's in how we touch the people in our lives
and what we leave in their hearts
when we are gone.

I see the sights of Summer,
golden in the sun.
I hear the sounds of birdsong,
praising days so long.
I smell the scents of ripening,
Lavender, Pinks and Plums...
I feel the touch of Summer,
in my heart and in my bones.

I wish you,too, a happy time,
now Summer has finally come.

The beauty of the butterfly
is there for all to see,
exquisite wings outspread in flight
or still upon a tree.
I'd like to share such loveliness

But still we can have some fun

I watch and see the seasons change
From Winter through to Spring
And see the bulbs and shoots pop up
The pretty flowers change everything
Then as the trees turn to green
I know that Summer is here
On hot bright days we linger
Too soon the Autumn is near
When the trees start glowing gold
And plants begin to fade
The change in seasons starts again

It's a beautiful summers day
With a sky so bright and blue
Bees and butterflies are flitting around
And the fields are replanted anew

As I walk along the country lanes
I hear the song of the lark
The sounds of the sheep and cattle
In the distance a dog starts to bark

Red, pink, purple and blue
You have lived life to the full
Living every colour, every shade,every hue

The countries you have seen
Friends around the world you have made
You have travelled far and wide to see
Living a life of colour, but never in the shade

I wish I was a computer whizz
As talented and clever as you
I'd be able to use my computer
To send an e-mail or two

I would still be sending my greetings cards
And little notes to you
But I wish I could master the computer
And be as good as you

Winter is upon us
Rain and snow they say
It rained at first and then it snowed
Just another winter's day

The snow is cold and white
Little children laugh with glee
As they toboggan down the hill
Loving all that they can see

The children built a snowman
They built him with a pose
They put black pebbles for his eyes
And a carrot for his nose
He cannot see the children
And he cannot smell the air
He may melt later in the day
But the children, they don't care

I have a mobile phone
It sits in my bag all day
The only time I use it
Is when I go away

You said 'Why don't you use it?'
I said ' Well I'm home all day'
You said 'You didn't answer'
I said 'Try again, I may'

The wind is blowing through the trees
The branches bending low
Whipping up the piles of leaves
It's time for me to go

I'm off to find some sunshine
I'm off before the rain
I'll start my packing right now
Then rush to catch my plane

In Spring the birds are singing
In Summer the flowers bloom
In Autumn the leaves fall off the trees
While Winter is full of gloom

But then the days wake up again
And Spring is in the air
The flowers show their pretty heads
The garden isn't bare
