New Baby Boy

You'll watch him as he falls to sleep,
You'll gasp in wonder at your love so deep,
You have for your precious baby boy,
For his life will unfold bringing so much joy,
For the years ahead hold so much pleasure,
For you and your baby to share together.

There's no other love quite like it,
You've been blessed with a wonderful son,
You'll watch him grow and change each day,
He'll be your focus - your special loved one,
He'll fill your heart with laughter,
There will be many proud moments - that's true,

There is a little room ready,
For a very special boy,
It will soon be filled with laughter,

And you will be able to look after him,
He will need lots of care,
For while he is growing,

Who will give him lots of cuddles,
And take time to play with him too.

You will be able to care for him,
And play with him and his toys,
You'll be able to read him stories,
And lullabies will sing,
And when he gets a bit older,
You can push him on a swing,
But just for now he'll need cuddles,
And lots and lots of care,
From his special grown up sister,
Who has lots of love to share.

You have lots of pink,
He has lots of blue,
Your little baby brother,
Is home to stay with you,
How exciting it will be,
As you help your brother grow,
You'll be able to show him lots of things,
That his big sister already knows,
You can push him in his pram,
Help him when he walks,
And it won't be very long,
Before he begins to talk!
But before he does all that,
He'll need a sister just like you,
To help and look after him,
And give him lots of love too.

Your little baby has arrived,
How happy you must be,
To have a son now in your life,
You've become a family,
Enjoy the blessings as they unfold,
Of the joys of parenthood,
For from now on life with your son,
Is nothing else but good.
