Christening Girl

May many good things fall,
Upon your daughter today,
As you seek God's special Blessing
To guide her on life's way,
May the angels shed their light,
And show her the path to take,
This is the prayer I offer,
To my God this prayer I make.

At this special occasion we offer a prayer,
That God will keep your daughter in his loving care,
May she be surrounded with joy and much love,
With guidance from angels sent down from above,
May the path that she takes bring her contentment each day,
And may happiness in her heart always with her stay.

Today you name your little girl
On this, her Christening day
We wish you luck and happiness
In each and every way

As you stand together in our Lords House
May your child be Blessed with a loving kind nature
as you bring her before God in baptism

May he bless your little one with all of lifes treasures

I have been asked to be your Godmother
A great honour bestowed on me
I promise to love and care for you
As good as any Godmother can be
With my love forever

Dear God in Heaven bless this child,
Teach her the way to go,
Keep her safe and free from harm.
