Here's a cheers to my Dad,
Who likes beer and is known as a top lad!
On Father's Day, we raise a glass,
To a man who's never known to pass.
With a pint in his hand,
He's the king of the land.
A hoppy brew, a crisp lager,
Gives him a confident swagger.
So here's to you, dear old Dad,
On Father's Day, I remind myself you're not so bad.
May your beer always be cold,
And may your stories never get old.
I’m ever so glad you’re my Dad!

I raise a glass to my friend,
A man on whom I can depend.
Though not my dad, you are so dear,
And having you in my life is something I hold near.

Your laughter fills the room,
And with you, there's never a sense of gloom.
A good beer in your hand,
And life feels simply grand.

I was oh so very small,
But now I’m grown up, I don’t beg
I ask nicely and sit up very tall,
And what about the cushions ?
I’m just keeping them safe you know,
When I’m on my back
I’m no prude, it’s all on show,
When it’s time to sleep
I could drop off in a chair,
Or especially in bed
When I get more than my fair share,
But when it comes to Daddys
I know I’ve got the best
For you shower me with kisses
And rub me in the right place on my chest

If ever there was a man who deserves the best - it's you,
By doing so much for others your love comes shining through,
You're a father in a million who always goes that extra mile,
And what is more, when you help out, you always wear a smile,

For you're someone who is treasured more than words can say.

This day is all about fathers and that of course is you,
A man who will do his very best to make all your dreams come true,
A figure you can look up to and learn so very much,
He may be tough on the outside but inside is a gentle touch.
You'd be hard pushed to find another man with so much kindness in his heart,
I'm so grateful to have him in my life and to play such a special part.

You say I'm like Scooby Doo, I suppose so in my antics,
When I've got my 'silly head' on I run around quite frantic,
Although I'm not animated there's one thing I beat him by a mile,
Whenever I see you Daddy, I give you the best ever Scooby smile.

I don’t need a special day to say
thank-you
for all that you have done,
of all the Dads in the world
you are the number 1
You dried my many tears
And eased all of my fears
you tucked me in at night
and always held me tight.
And so on this very special Day
I only have one thing to say,

It is the wonderful feeling as a proud mother I own,
When I am able to see my grandchildren all grown,
And finding their pathway forward in life
Without even a hint of any trouble or strife
That the strength and character and love that has been shown
To those little ones that have now truly grown,
By the Son that I watched, grow and then develop parenting skills,
It is my honour and pride that I am blessed with today
To be able to say, “My son have a wonderful Fathers’ Day”
