I sat with you for awhile today,
I even called your name,
For since the moment that you went,
Things have never been quite the same,
Your clothes they are still hanging there,
Your cap upon the peg,
The books that you just loved to read,
Well they're still on the bed,
The little notes you left me,

It's my way of connecting,
To try and dull the pain,

To walk back through the door.

God looked around his garden
And saw that he had space
For someone Oh So Precious
Who deserved a Special place,
He knew this child was made with Love
And pure in every way
And He realised He caused heartache
When He took your Son away.
So immediately He gave Him
Beautiful wings so He could fly
And although you cannot see Him
He's right there up in the Sky.
So when you see the Brightest Star
Each and Every night
You will know it's Your Son's Smile
Sending out Eternal Light.
For now your little Angel
will watch down from Heaven above
And you will always be surrounded
With your Little Angel's Love.

When your heart is heavy,
And you feel you can't go on,
Think of the years you had together,
He'd want you to stay strong,
I know that you will miss him,
You'll always hear his footsteps fall,
You'll always hear his key in the lock,
His voice as he gives you a call,
It's only natural you will grieve for him,
To do so shows you cared,
But always smile at the memories,
That you two were so lucky to share.

They say that time can heal all wounds,
and this I know is true,
so time is what it will take
for every one of you.
So when enough time has past by
in weeks or months or years,
Fondest memories of times you've shared,
will replace your tears.
As for now a bright new star
lights up the heavens blue,
Brightening up the dark nights
to help you make it through.
For even though your brother has past
He has never really gone,
Remaining always in your hearts,
His memory will live on.

He always was the strong one.
Yet he has gone before,
He's left you all alone now,
He's quietly gone out the door,
Yet alone you really will never be,

The two of you were close,
How sad you now must be,
