A beautiful necklace made from a leather cord and freshwater pearls.
Put a freshwater pearl onto a head pin. Bend the pin with round nose pliers to form a loop. Nip off the excess pin. Make as many pearls on head pins as needed for your necklace.
Cut a piece of leather cord to a suitable length. The leather cord should be between 110 and 115cm long, depending on whether it should go around the neck twice or three times. Thread all the freshwater pearls onto the leather cord. Place the pearls spaced on the cord and squeeze the loops flat with a pair pliers so the pearls stay in place.
Glue an end cap onto each end of the cord. Put a pearl on a head pin following the same procedure as in step No. 1 and insert the head pin into the loop of the end cap before closing it.
