The front of this pearlescent greeting card is decorated with a woven decoration made from Vivi Gade star weaving paper strips (Oslo design). A piece of natural hemp is tied around the greeting card with a tag with a stamped print.

Shorten the long paper strips with different patterns from the same design series, making them easier to work with. You will need eight paper strips horizontal and five paper strips vertically. Arrange the paper strips flat and start weaving. Finish with a tight weave at the end.

Secure the woven decoration with a blob of glue on the front and the back where the two outer strips overlap eachother.

Trim the sides of the woven decoration.

Make a stamped print onto a piece of design paper from the same series.

Draw a circle around the stamped print with a 5cm diameter using either a pair of compasses or a round object. Cut out.

Attach the woven decoration onto the front of the greeting card using double-sided adhesive tape.

Tie a piece of natural hemp around the front of the greeting card.

Attach the cut-out circle with the stamped print onto the piece of natural hemp using 3D foam pads.
