Kraft paper is painted with A-Color glossy acrylic paint. When dry, outline an owl with a white oil pastel. Paint the background with A-Color matt acrylic paint. Outline the owl once more with a refill bottle with a fine tip to make a relief effect.
Body-wise (physical-kinaesthetic): Children's physical intelligence is enhanced when they use special tools such as refill bottles for drawing and painting, rather than a pen or a brush.
Image-wise (spatial intelligence): Children's spatial intelligence is enhanced when working visually with contrasts such as matt/glossy, light/dark and rough/smooth.
Paint the entire Kraft paper with A-Color glossy acrylic paint. Use two to four colors and leave to dry.
Outline an owl design using a white oil pastel.
Paint the background of the owl one color using A-Color matt acrylic paint. Leave to dry.
Draw the outline of the owl again using using a refill bottle with a fine tip filled with white A-Color acrylic paint, either glossy or matt. This makes a relief effect.
The glossy and matt areas can, of course, be varied.
