A Drum made from a painted Metal Tin and Drumsticks made from Flower Sticks

The drum is an old metal cake tin, painted according to your own design using Art School acrylic paint (which is also used for painting the drumsticks). The drumsticks are made from shortened flower sticks with end beads glued on.

Paint the metal tin with Art School acrylic paint using two different colours. Let it dry for at least 24 hours.

Cut the flower stick into two drumsticks each measuring 25 cm. Use a glue gun and attach an end bead to one end of both drumstick.

Paint the drumsticks with Art School acrylic paint and let them dry for at least 24 hours.

You may want to tie bells onto a piece of elastic cord and wrap this around the metal tin for an added sound effect.
