An Embossed Bag

Use a texture plate and a texturing tool for embossing on Color Bar paper. The pattern is revealed when sanding the embossed paper with a fine grain sanding sponge. The A4 paper is folded to make a small gift bag.

Attach the texture plate to the ShapeBoss. Place the paper on top of the texture plate with the dark side facing down.

Use the texturing tool to make circular movements over the paper. Move the paper to make sure to emboss the entire piece of paper.

Now lightly sand the paper until the embossed pattern appears white (the paper core is white). Wipe the Color Bar paper with a piece of kitchen roll.

Fold the A4 piece of paper into a bag: First fold once lengthwise.

Unfold and fold the paper across.

Turn the paper so that the opening is facing towards you. Fold the top corners towards to the middle and unfold them again.

Now fold the sides towards the middle.

Push it down so it resembles a paper hat.

Fold the top sides towards the middle line.

... and fold towards the middle line again. Turn the paper over and repeat on the reverse.

Fold down the flaps on the top at both sides.

Make a hole in both sides with revolving punch pliers.

Push the bottom up and highlight all four sides.

Tie a piece of paper cord in the holes for closing the bag.
