A Ladybird – A Foam Rubber Costume

This ladybird costume consists of a mask and wings, both with elastic cords attached. Both the mask and the wings are cut from foam rubber and the mask is decorated with pipe cleaners for the ladybird's antennae.

Print and cut out the parts from the template available as a separate pdf file for this idea. Draw the outlines of the templates onto foam rubber and glue together. Use a glue gun. Attach the wings to each side of a piece of foam rubber. Glue the pipe cleaner antennae onto the mask. Make holes for the elasticated cord using revolving hole punch pliers.
