A long felt stocking with Crochet Lace Borders and bells.
Draw the template onto a double layer of felt so that the back of the stocking is lying against the fold of the felt.
Cut two small pieces of felt in another pattern or colour, measuring 11 x 24cm and approx. 7.5 x 24cm. Measure the crochet lace border to the same length as the pieces of felt. Cut two pieces.
Lay all the parts onto the open felt stocking and sew it all on either on the sewing machine or by hand.
Fold the edge at the top and sew.
Fold the Christmas stocking right side against right side and sew it together – it can easily be sewn together by hand.
Turn the stocking right side out and sew bells onto the lower crochet lace border.
Finish the stocking by sewing a loop of felt onto the upper edge for hanging.
