The shapes are cut out from French card and handmade paper. Then they are glued together in pairs around a ribbon which is attached to a metal hanger.
Cut pairs of circles with a diameter of approx. 4.5 – 6cm from French card. You may use a compass circle cutter. Cut pairs of circles from handmade paper – but in a smaller size.
Glue the small card circles onto the large card circles using a glue stick.
Make smaller circles from card by using the lid of the glue stick as a template.
Attach the composite circles back to back around a ribbon using glue. Thread a glass bead onto the ribbon between each pair of circles.
Use the bird and egg templates and cut these out in pairs from handmade paper.
Glue a ribbon across some of the eggs. Glue a separately tied bow onto the ribbon.
The four ribbons making up the mobile are all different. This ribbon consists of card circles. The circles are threaded onto the ribbon using a large needle.
Thread the ribbons through each loop on the metal hanger. Trim the ribbon and secure the end of the ribbon by glueing it onto the back of the ribbon.
