A rustic and Nature inspired necklace made from a piece of leather cord and Indian Beads. Closed at the top with adjustable knots.
Attach a round jump ring to the metal pendant.
Cut a piece of leather cord measuring 130cm and thread on the pendant.
Thread beads onto the leather cord on both sides of the metal pendant.
Finish each end of the cord with a single knot, a rondelle spacer bead and another knot. Cut off the excess piece of leather cord.
An Adjustable Knot: Arrange the two ends of the cord so they are parallel and each side/end is finished or braided individually. Make a loop with the end and wind the end of the cord around the two cords three to five times or as many times as desired.
Pull the end through all the twists and through the loops – including the first one.
Pull the end tight and the loops and twists will now lie tightly around the two cords.
Cut off the end closely to the knot. Glue it onto the loops. Make sure not to glue the cord end onto the cord which is intended to slide.
