A short necklace

Large and small ceramic beads are put onto a beading wire. Closed with crimp beads, oval rings and a swivel clasp.

1

A bead board is a good, practical help when making necklaces. A bead board enables you to lay all your beads out before threading them onto the wire.

2

Thread the beads onto the wire.

3

Close one side: close an oval ring on the swivel clasp. Put the two crimp beads onto the wire. Feed the wire through the oval ring and back through the crimp beads and squeeze the crimp beads flat.

4

Repeat on the other side, but without the clasp. Pull the wire tight before squeezing the crimp beads. Remember to arrange the chain correctly or else it may be too tight and not "alive".
