Made from leather cords, rhinestone beads and crystal beads. A Macram Board is used for holding the cords securely in place whilst braiding.
Cut four cords each measuring 60cm. Double over. Tie on a cord and secure on the Macram Board.
Now plait as shown. Place the leftmost cord over and down between the 2nd and the 3rd on the right side.
Place the rightmost cord over and down between the 2nd and the 3rd on the left side and back again.
Continue by changing side.
Tighten.
Continue until the piece measures approx. 16cm.
Put beads onto a wire which is put through a crimp bead, the eye of the end cap and back again. Close the crimp bead.
Same procedure in the other side, but through the eye of the lock.
Glue the ends of the leather cords together and glue into an end cap.
Fit on a round jump ring in the opposite side of the clasp.
