This book is an introduction to the wax pastels, NEOCOLOR I and NEOCOLOR II from the Swiss company, Caran d'Ache . The difference between the two wax pastels is that one is water-resistant, while the other is water-soluble.
The palette contains 126 colours and 10 metallic colours. At a teaching level, the book describes the wax pastels' properties and use in relation to the selected techniques. See instruction manual here
