A bracelet made with beads on a piece of elastic beading cord.
Place the beads on the pegboard in a desired pattern.
Iron the finished design of the beads on the pegboard (set the iron at a suitable temperature; i.e. 3 dots on the iron).
Glue the finished bead design onto a hair band using a glue gun.
Sketch a desired pattern. Remember that the beads will be placed in a staggered fashion.
Tie a bead onto one end of a 2.5m long piece of elastic beading cord.
Now thread a number of beads onto the cord equivalent to the desired width of the bracelet and in a desired pattern.
Thread a bead onto the cord, place it parallel next to No. 2 bead at the top. Sew through the 2nd bead from the top of the row of beads.
Sew the cord through the fourth bead from the top.
Sew the cord through the sixth bead from the top.
Thread a bead onto the cord, place it parallel next to the 2nd bead at the bottom. Sew through the 2nd bead from the bottom.
Continue sewing in this weaving pattern in every other bead. It gets easier as you progress.
When the bracelet has reached the desired length, join the two ends together by sewing in a weaving pattern.
Weave in every other bead from the opposite side.
Untie the knot which was around the first bead. Tie the two cord ends together with knots.
