Great for keys
A smart key ring made from a braided shoe lace and with a metal pendant.

Double over the shoe lace and bend it approx. 10cm back on itself.

Pull a piece of silver-plated wire through the loop of the lace as shown in the photo.

Twist the silver-plated wire around the lace and tighten.

Attach a pendant onto the round jump ring onto and attach the round jump ring onto the shoe lace.

Start braiding – start where the silver-plated wire is twisted around the shoe lace.

Always braid to the same side – i.e. always start with the same lace. This results in a twisted braiding. Finish by tying a knot.
