Wax sticks with a wick or in a sealing wax gun is melted and designs from seals are pushed into the wax. They can be made either directly onto the desired object or on grease proof paper so that the print may be transferred.
Tip: read the step-by-step guide before you start.
In order to change the design, unscrew the top part of the seal.
Light wick in the wax stick and drip a suitable amount of wax.
Or you may use a sealing wax gun for the wax sticks.
Wait for five to ten seconds until the wax has cooled down. Then push a cooled seal into the warm wax.
Push down the seal for a few seconds and then remove it.
You may make a wax seal on a piece of grease proof paper.
The wax seal can now be removed from the grease proof paper.
You may put a piece of twine into a hole made in the flap on the back of the envelope and "glue" it with wax. Then push the seal into the wax, leaving a print.
