Downloaded from site and uploaded to cutting machine. Resized down to make a 3" flower and changed colour from black to red and green, loaded the mats up and set the machine to cut out from thin cardstock. Once cut out and removed from mats I decided to give some shape and a little colouring to the leaves and petals by using Aqua Pens and then using a foam embossing mat and tool to give some shape (straight strokes on the leaves from base to tip and circular on the petals See photo 1)

When I had done this I assembled the flower first using glue in the central part and staggering the petals. Then I glued the 2 sets of leaves together again staggering them. The flower was then glued to the leaves. I didn't use the centres that had been cut out, instead I added glue to the centre of the flower and then sprinkled black Flower Soft in the centre (See photo 2).

I made this to go on the octaganal card (cup 1090757 104105) but really it could be used for a variety of things. I'm going to experiment with other flowers and other materials. I suppose that you could add a safety pin to the flower or even some flower wire but that's another experiment for me to try!!
