Horse Over The Edge Card

I cut this from 160gsm green, yellow and white card. I made up the rosette and then wrote 1st on it with a gold pen. Joined the 3 sections of card together with DST.

Downloaded file from site and uploaded to cutting machine. Changed score lines back to score as they come up as cut marks. Cut out on white 220 cardstock. This opens out both to the left and right.

Cut a piece of thin blue card and drew round the shape of the solid horse so that it acted as backing paper for the best wishes.

Attached this with glue after folding back the tab. Glued the tab to the right hand side of the back of the plain card. Decided to give the cut out horse a little bit of colour as its going to a person with a Chestnut horse with 4 white socks.

Coloured the tree in green. Repeated the colouring on the inner side as well. Used Aqua pens for this. Added a few marks to give the effect of bone structure and highlighted the eye and nostril and inner ear.

Folded back the tab on this and then glued this to the back of the plain card on the left hand side.
