Butterfly Scroll CardCompleted by Glenys Linehan

Uploaded the cutting file into Design Space and resized it before ungrouping the elements. Moved the scrolls up onto the main card and changed these to Draw using a gold glitter gel pen. Regrouped and attached these ready to cut out on 250 gsm white card. Ungrouped the greetings and deleted the 'Just for You' and added a Happy Birthday text instead in Black ink, and reattached this to the small topper ready for cutting out. Changed the mat colours for 3 butterflies to pink, blue and silver and changed the large topper to pink ready for cutting out, on non shed glitter card. Made the large rectangle bigger so that this would cover the inside of the card when cut out on backing paper. Set the machine to continue and inserted the different colours and tools when required. When everything was cut out I assembled the card, using dst for the insert and foam pads for the butterflies. Glued the sentiments onto the pink topper and attached this with foam pad to the card. Added coloured gems into some of the circles that had been drawn.

For the second card (black)

I changed the 'draw' on the scroll to 'cut'. I cut another main card in gold changing the score lines to cut. I also changed the text to Welsh 'Happy Birthday'. I cut 2 copper and 2 silver butterflies from mirriboard and an insert and plain white oval for the writing panel. To make up I just glued the mirri to the inside of the panels and made up as before except I did not use any gems.
