Using a Silhouette Cameo, I cut two sets of the design and a sentiment on a sheet of A4 gold mirror card. I printed the two coloured backing butterflies on a sheet of vellum, and then cut them. To make the backing mats, I traced an 8 inch scalloped edge card and cut it on the gold mirror card. Then I used an inner offset to make the size smaller, and cut it again on black card. The black backing mat was arranged on the gold mirror backing mat to form a gold border and attached using double sided tape. Then I used the tape to attach them to the main card. Spray mount was used to attach the filigree designs to the card. To make the butterflies, I attached the gold mirror filigree designs to the vellum with glue down the centre, and then used the glue to attach them to the design.
