Over The Edge Butterflies Set

I cut all 3 designs from 160gsm white card. The over the edge butterfly I cut the backing from rainbow vellum and attached with DST. The flowers I cut from green, red, yellow and blue 160gsm card and made 'leaves' from the green and flowers from the other 3 colours.

I layered them using silicone gel. The 2 over the edge flowers cards I coloured the sections of flowers on the backing plate with chalk and set it with hairspray.

I did the same with the 2 butterflies.

Then I scored each side of the butterfly body and shaped the wings with my fingers and stuck the body down with DST and held the wings up with silicone gel.
