I cut the blank base card from lilac 250 gsm card and the front overlay from black 180 gsm card.

I used the included backing paper to cut the panel for the behind the overlay, glued them together using wet pva glue and then stuck them on to the the base card.

For the 2nd card I cut the overlay from white 180 gsm card and chose a different backing paper backing paper from my stash to give a different look.
