I was so excited to make this card.
The main body of the card I cut from220gsm white card. For the next layer I used 160gsm yellow/gold card that I affixed to the main white card with 3-d foam pads. The next layer of white I cut from 160gsm card and affixed again using 3-d foam pads. Then for the angel outlines I used a textured metallic card that shines blue or green in the light. This layer is very thin and delicate.!!! Make sure you have a decent blade in your machine and a decent weight card. I damaged 4 pieces of card before I found one that worked for me. I stuck this layer onto to white using a spray adhesive. Finally with The Holy family done in blue and gold glitter card. I cut the Holy Family out twice (once in gold and once in blue) so I could have the different colours. The moon and star I used spray adhesive for and the Holy Family I used 3-d foam pads.
This is a breathtakingly beautiful card. It was well worth the perseverance with the angel outline. Anyone would be overjoyed to receive this card.
