I printed the snowy scene backing paper (cup1011859_40382) on to 250 gsm card and used this to cut the base card.

I paper pieced the figure together using flesh coloured card for the body and red, black and white for the dress, hair, jacket and trims.

For the flourish topper, sentiment and tree I used white and black 180 gsm card. I used pva glue to attach all the toppers to the card.
