Although this was design lends itself well to festive/christmas cards, I decided to experiment a little and use it in a different way.

After cutting out the main card using smooth white card, I created a textured effect with several coloured ink pads. I used bright red glitter card for the backing piece and contrasted that with black smooth card on half of the inside, (leaving the other half white for a sentiment). Black gems were applied to the centre of the star cut outs. Thank you to the designer for an easy to make and versatile cutting file.
