A beautiful Multi layered piece. Mine measures 19 x 19.5 cm with the sentiment in place, A detailed scalloped circle, I cut my main card base pieces from 350gsm centura pearlised card, and used a contrasting brown gold Mirri to make the design pop.

Really easy to assemble, and the cut file is perfect, and imports correctly into other software for cutting.

Quick to cut, but a couple of tips, swap out a lot of the lantern layers for paper not card stock, I used 3 card stock lantern layers for stability, bearing in mind you are doubling up on the gsm of the paper each time you glue one to another, this will also reduce the bulk of the fold without impacting on the stability or design.

Second tip is in 2 parts, Use a scoreboard to centralise your finished piece, and make sure its straight before you add the layered sentiment, its obvious if it is slightly off centre, and secondly once you have figured out that it is straight take a pair of scissors to the base, and snip off a couple of the scallops, it tends to rock and roll, which is great if you want it to do that, other wise just snipping into the base layer and removing less than 0.5cm will stabilise it.

You must add the tealight before closing it up, as the circluar holes are narrow enough to hold the tealight in place without it falling out.

A few Gems around the edge, and it is finished, a lovely display piece, sure to be bought out year after year
