Mr and Mrs Gingerbread Hanging Card Decorations - I used my scan n cut to create the shapes out of kraft card.

I embossed the top layers to give a textured effect then mounted them on the background shapes with foam pads.

I positioned and glued on the red and brown cut-out wavy trimmings - then added mini pom pom buttons and the bows.

I used some glitter glue to add sparkle and a couple of mini gems for the bows. Mr G. has a jingle bell - Mrs G. is wearing a bit of make-up - I added rosy cheeks with a metallic pinky-red pen and some black eyelashes with a felt tip.

Finally, I carefully created a small hole so that I could thread through the hanging ribbon. I very much enjoyed making up these two characters. Although I made them into hanging decorations - they could just as effectively become toppers for birthday, xmas cards or used for bunting.
