I cut several snowflakes out of 250gsm Super Smooth cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo. I then went over both sides with a zig glue pen and dunked them in a tub of ultra fine glitter. I took an A4 sheet of Acetate, scored and then folded it the long way before taking a pokey tool and putting one hole at the centre of the fold and seven holes along the bottom edges. Into the holes I threaded lengths of clear, monofilament, jewellery thread. I then tied a glittered snowflake to each of the threads hanging down, leaving the other one to hang my creation with. I put a dot of clear nail varnish on each knot in the monofilament to help stop the knots coming undone.
The snowflakes all cut beautifully and would look lovely as a statement embelishment on a card or scrapbook, as well as using singly or folded and useing a number together to make decorations.
