Mat & Wrap 4

These are gorgeous wraps/mats designs that can be used for an occasion. I cut out the mat in white shimmer and then used the offset function to create another mat to sit underneath, just a add a little more texture to the card.

I've also used cup393690_671 Love Grows kit.

Really happy with the finished card.

I wanted to make a card with texture and interest, but not a lot of dimension, so I cut the wrap from this kit out of Bazzil cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo. I also cut out a base card with a decorative edge, cup222855_597, out of a cream, linen textured, 250gsm cardstock. I decided to make a landscape card so the wrap was placed over the top edge of the card and I added a white peel-off to the top border. I coloured in digi-stamp cup353210_866 using my ProMarkers, and then die-cut it with a Spellbinders die. I also used a Spellbinders die to cut out a blank greetings panel out of a black shade of the same Bazzil cardstock I'd used for the wrap. I went round the edges of the base card, dig-stamp topper and greetings panel with a copper metalic marker, and also used the same marker to colour in peel-offs that said "Penblwydd Hapus" - Welsh for "Happy Birthday". I then used wet glue to attatch everything in place.

The cut out design on this mat and wrap set is lovely, and will go with many different types of cards, from flowers or butterflies for the girls, right through to ones for the boys as I've made.
