Scalloped Layered Cards 5 & 6Completed by Gwyneth George

I've kept this card simpnle, with no embelishments other than a silver greeting peeloff (Penblwydd Hapus, which is Welsh for Happy Birthday). I've cut all the layers out from three different colours of Silk Art card in toneing colours. I've stuck each of the layers in place using 2mm deep, double sided, tape between each layer.

The whole thing makes a very nice card without any embelishment, but, as can be seen in the exemplar, it can be decorated up how you want as well. I used 2mm deep foam because I knew I'd be giving the card by and, but wouldn't do this for a card that's to be posted as it makes for a very deep "dome" of layers. I'm going to have a play around with lots of different colour combinations when I make more of these cards.
