I cut out using pastel pink pearl card and matt pink card and layered alternately for a nice contrast. I layered at the body using thin sticky pads and shaped the wings outwards.
I made an off-set shape of the card base, then reduced the size and used as an insert. This is so intricate looking but cuts out so well, and I did not have to poke out all the bits afterwards like some files.
It was quick to cut and simple to make up with amazing results.....what a stunning and beautiful design this is
I cut the different layers of the butterfly on alternate colours of pale lilac and cream joining them at the body with fine foam pads, added pale lilac pearls to the body, needs nothing else, its just gorgeous and so easy to cut out.
I used a combination of 2 different card stocks to make this. One was a 310gsm super smooth and AC white which is about 210gsm for the top 3 layers. I used some gems for the Thorax.
Personally this was quite a pain to cut. There are lots of tiny holes as the file gets smaller and just looks messy when cut, so I had to edit some of the small holes out.
I used both my ScanNcut and Silhouette (using MTC) to cut these out due to the problems I was having. Others may not have any problem at all.
