These three cards show a variation of card styles made using elements from within this kit.
With the first card I cut the wrap out of white cardstock 4 times. The first two were scored and wrapped around a panel of the same white cardstock, leaving a little clear area in the middle. To this middle area I attached three poppies made using cutting file cup392610_596. The second two wraps were again scorred and attached to the front of a sheet of acetate that was just over 1cm larger than the panel I'd used for the first two wraps and poppies. I used ultra strong clear tape to attach all the wrapps at the sides and a zig glue pen under all the fine cut out work to attach it. The back pieces of all the wraps were attached behind the panel, leaving the acetate front bowed. The decorated panel was then attached to a card front that had been trimmed to be the same size as it. For my second and third card I cut both the large panel and the ribbons out of the same cream, linen textured, cardstock. The panel was attached to a layer of white cardstock using zig glue, the panel was attached to a cream card using 1mm deep, double sided, foam tape. The three ribbons were attached to a black card shape cut using cup394612_1415. Both had panels with a peel-off greeting saying "Penblwydd Hapus" (Welsh for "Happy Birthday") put on the front with the foam tape. I finished off both with little roses I'd cut as spares when creating box cup392953_596.
These are a gorgeous set of cutting files and work well when kept simple with a minimal amount of embelishment. But I'm also sure that they'd look lovely with faux pearls or gems spotted all over them, or with a lot more embelishment on, or even as a layer behind a larger topper.
